As of next week, this will be the main outlet of the Pyrkalo wisdom and observations. After nearly 6 years, I have wrapped up my column for Gazeta po-ukrainsky. I loved working with them, have been humbled by the response of many people who have been regular readers for years and think “Avtorska kolonka” (which continues at gazeta.ua) has been one of the most interesting media projects in Ukraine.

I hope many of my readers will find my new blog worthy of their attention. I also hope everybody will tune in to all of the BBC Ukrainian radio programmes, especially Friday interactive programmes which I often present.

I will be reading all comments via BBC.ua. Unfortunately, pyrkalo.com is flooded with spam, so I can’t read any messages here, but I am generally pretty easy to find.

My new blog will be in Ukrainian.
